The Ride relies on hundreds of volunteers to support our participants and the UW cancer mission. Volunteers are able to contribute in a number of ways.
REGISTRATION SERVICES
In addition to pre-event packet pick-up, The Ride provides on-site packet pick-up and registration at both the American Family Insurance Headquarters bike start and UW Health at The American Center run/walk start on the morning of the event.

PARTICIPANT AMENITIES
The Ride celebrates its participants and their motivation for walking, running and biking for the cancer mission. Upon finishing The Ride, all participants are invited to partake in the celebration which includes live music, food and beverage, and amenities for the whole family. Be part of providing these experiences to The Ride participants and their families.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES
Support The Ride participants as they conclude their fundraising campaign and accomplish the physical goal in which they set to accomplish at The Ride. Volunteers have the opportunity to provide food and beverage support throughout the day.

FINISH LINE SUPPORT
Play an active role in inspiring participants as they finish their journey. Finish line support includes groups and individuals committed to providing a positive environment as well as offering aid and encouragement to finishers as they complete their route distance.

COURSE STAFF
Volunteers are critical to providing support and safety to all participants while on their course. The Ride provides individuals and groups several opportunities to contribute to The Ride and its mission throughout several Wisconsin counties as The Ride routes weave through many communities before finishing back in Madison.
